Have I got your attention now? :P Basically, the title is a reference to the time I went out with my mum and her friends for her birthday and wanted to order the chicken breast and this chocolate thing for pudding, and because of lack of sleep, I said I wanted the chocolate breast.
Anyway, I needed a random title because this entry is full of random things. Like how up until this morning when I was in the kitchen, I forgotten that in a moment of madness, my mum and I named all of the appliances in there. The cooker is called Jennifer (Jenny for short) because the make of it is Ariston, and my mum thought was Jennifer Aniston's surname, and we couldn't be bothered to think of another name so we left it. The washing machine alternates between Milly and Emily because the make of it's called Miele. The dishwasher's called Aggie because the make of it's called AEG. The fridge is the only one with the same name as it's brand- Electra. Which makes me want to sing 'She's Electric' by Oasis at it. The microwave is brandless and so remains nameless.
I forgot to mention in my last entry that I got my coursework band for English Lit and I'm in second from top, which was a nice surprise. Also got my first draft of coursework 2 back for English Language and it wasn't as bad as I thought, and I've got two weeks to improve it. It's only ten weeks to exams I'm told, which sounds scary. I've applied for three jobs. I'd like one just in case the uni thing doesn't go to plan. I'm looking at the work we're doing for college and it seems impossible- in English Lit for example, we've got to memorise King Lear, Oedipus Rex and Chaucer and know them well enough to discuss themes. I'm going to need a Pensieve.
I have dreams in which blog posts which are saved as drafts on here and are definitely not meant for public viewing some how get published and although I know they're only dreams, I still check...I'm a right numpty.
There were some other things I were going to mention and I've forgotten...oh yes, books. I've been re-reading Harry Potter because I haven't done so for a while. I also read 'If I Stay' at the end of last month, which I think is one of those books that makes sense if you read it more than once. I haven't decided which books I'm going to read this month, though I might wait until after my birthday because I did ask for some and I'm not sure which ones -if any- I'll be getting. Speaking of my birthday, it's in 5 days. How did this happen? I haven't got any plans for the actual day, though exam results are available online at 11 am. Friday I'm going to Greenwich to stay with some relatives and to get to know the area because Saturday is the open day at Greenwich uni and seeing as they only want 160 UCAS points, I think I'd better check it out. That, and they're my backup. Sunday is Mother's Day so everyone in our family is meeting up with people from my mum's side and we're going to a pub somewhere for lunch. Monday will most likely be spent sleeping, realising I have work, deciding I'll have plenty of time to do it later, going shopping, coming home and realising I don't have time to do work. :P
Other things...holiday. To LA/Mexico. On Air New Zealand, because it was cheaper and British Airways were (and still are?) planning a strike when we were booking tickets. That and it leaves at 4 in the afternoon, which'll mean there's no getting up at silly hours of the morning. I'm looking forward to it.
This is how my brother and I communicate these days:
*insert pictures of skype conversations here that blogger's picture uploader thingymajica refuses to upload*
My mum has given up yelling upstairs to him that dinner's ready and has basically taken up asking me to tell him on skype.
There was something else I was going to mention but I've forgotten. I'm getting olddddd.
Topics in this blog post: chocolate breast, household appliances, college, books, uni, birthday, holiday, skype.
B xxx :)
P.S. Today I said "The only people who find me attractive are older women." but then realised how that sounded...
